Illness In School

If you become ill in school, you must report to the Nurses' office room 299, with a note from a classroom teacher.  An official early excuse pass will be given to you if your parent approves and comes to pick you up or gives approval to the nurse/deans' office staff over the phone. An early excuse pass can be issued by the Nurse's office or the Deans' Office.

Upon your return to school you are to show the official pass to your subject class teachers. This will notify them that you were not cutting their classes. Then return the signed pass to the attendance office, room 127. If you leave without a pass, the classes you miss are considered cut.

It is important for the school to have up-to-date information about where the school can contact your parent/guardian when necessary. Make sure you know the telephone number of your parent's or guardian's job. Please keep updated blue cards on file with the school.

3. Also, under OPTA (under general policies), seniors with senior privileges are still not allowed to hang in the lobby. Please change it to "you can spend your OPTAS in any of the designated areas."Please add, "Seniors with senior privileges and their senior IDs are permitted to re-enter the building at 2pm."
