Writers Institute Application The application to the Writers' Institute is now open to all 9th graders! The Writers' Institute @ Edward R. Murrow High School is a screened sequence of English courses with a focus on writing and creative writing. The Writers' Institute classes are not electives; they are core English classes. Students who are accepted will be invited to a special event in the Spring to welcome them into the program. Please apply by Monday, February 23.
