Naviance

 

 

Naviance is a web-based program which provides students with college planning and career assessment tools. It connects the Murrow community and helps support families through the entire college process.

 

Beginning freshman and sophomore year, Naviance will open communication between you and the College and Career Office. During your junior and senior year, you will use Naviance to request letters of recommendations from Murrow teachers, find colleges and college majors, track deadlines and much more. In senior year, students will have to list the colleges they are applying to on Naviance in order for documents to be submitted to colleges.

 

-Communicate with the College and Career Office
-Research colleges and use “Super Match” to find the right fit

-Use “Scattergrams” to compare historical academic data of Murrow graduates to your current academic profile. By using the graph and plot, you can judge your chances of acceptance

-Explore an array of career possibilities and take self- discovery quizzes

-Develop a resume which can be sent to colleges
