Parent Teacher Association
The Parent Teacher Association of Edward R. Murrow High School believes that every child is entitled to a high quality education, a safe and healthy school environment, and equal educational opportunities. The mission of the Parent Teacher Association is to promote and support the educational needs of Edward R. Murrow High school students by representing and advocating for its families, students, and staff to the NYC Department of Education. We also help promote and develop a cooperative working relationship between the parents and staff of our school while encouraging parent leadership and building capacity for greater involvement.

2024 NYC SCHOOL SURVEY
Each school year, parents and guardians are invited to complete a survey designed to collect important information about the school’s ability to support student success. The results of the survey are used by the school administration to improve future learning opportunities for our students. We want to hear from you! Your opinion matters to us.
Please visit www.nycschoolsurvey.org to take the survey.
Your access code is the lowercase letter “f” followed by your child’s 9 digit OSIS school ID number. For example: f123456789. The survey is open until April 5, 2024.
Please reach out to me at [email protected] or call at 718-258-9283 extension 1090. Due to call volume emailing me is strongly advised.
We thank you in advance for your participation in the survey and we greatly appreciate the feedback.
We are very excited to announce that the PTA is now going to be able to accept Zelle for PTA donations. You can search us by using our email address- [email protected]. We thank you in advance for your donation.
