Edward R. Murrow High School presents two musicals each year in the Anzalone Theater. All instrumental students are encouraged to audition for pit orchestra. On stage, vocal students can audition to perform in a professional theatrical space with extraordinary sets, lighting, sound and costumes.
Students in the Murrow Music Institute will have the opportunity to participate in several trips: visits to universities, masterclasses, university tours and regional competitions. Our students perform at the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Spring Festival, ChoirFest at Hershey Park, and other regional events.
